Where It All Began
Founded in 2011, JimJam Academy & Junior School opened as a small Nursery in Kimumu, focused on joy-filled discovery, early literacy and character formation.
By 2014, growing demand led to a full Primary School section. In 2018, we introduced boarding facilities for up to 200 learners.
In 2023, we launched our Junior Secondary section — Grades 7–9 fully under the Competency-Based Curriculum, cementing a seamless journey from ECDE through Junior School.
A Decade & Beyond
Founded in Kimumu
JimJam Academy & Junior School opened its doors as a small Nursery — a joyful, values-based start for children ages 3–5.
Primary School Launch
Growing demand led to a full Primary section, from Grade 1 upwards, taught by specialist teachers.
Boarding Facilities
We introduced day & boarding, giving learners a safe home-away-from-home with round-the-clock care.
Junior School Under CBC
Launched Junior Secondary (Grades 7–9) fully aligned with the Competency-Based Curriculum.

Today we serve over 600 learners with modern infrastructure and a strong values-driven culture.
